i saw a thousand crows
fall from the sky
as the words fell from her lips
and formed into a lie
behind her teeth
the truth
it stood no chance
it fell to the masters hand
it got trampled by the masters dance

shame

fell, from my eyes
as the truth was told
through someone else's lies
between the lines of truth
and the night
well, she stood to the left
where truth
was not in sight

they were trapped by the fire

were the words that caused their death
